Now that we are coming into winter, it has already started to get a lot colder. That means we will be taking measures to keep ourselves warm. Whether that’s turning up the heat level on the radiators, adding extra clothing layers or digging out the hot water bottle. The humble hot water bottle is an inexpensive way to keep warm in the winter. Whether that’s snuggling up on the couch watching television, keeping you warm in bed or even just to warm the bed before you get into it at night.
But hot water bottles have more uses than just keeping you warm, they can be great for overall wellbeing, help you to relax, help to relieve stress, perfect for helping to relieve various aches and pain, ease muscle tension, and get a good night’s sleep. And by helping with all of these, they are also perfect for your short and long term health. I use mine to relieve not only cold but the pain caused by Raynaud’s, back pain and even the neck and shoulder pain I get when I’m getting a migraine!
Hot water bottles come in all shapes and sizes, with different kinds of covers and even novelty bottles. Personally, I have used several different types over the years: standard ones that we all know and love (and probably have at least one of), long ones, neck and shoulder ones and now I’m loving my new wearable one. It comes with a fluffy cover with a pocket to put your hands in and a wraparound belt to fasten it around your waist.
This wearable hot water bottle belt with fluffy cover comes supplied with a 1 litre hot water bottle, a fluffy hot water bottle cover with a pocket for your hands and a 125cm extended belt that fits waist sizes from 24″ to 46″, which can be adjusted as needed.
As this is a wearable hot water bottle it can be used indoors or outdoors under your clothing and frees up your hands (unless you have them buried in the cosy little pocket to keep them warm).
You just fill up the hot water bottle as directed (two thirds full, don’t use boiling hot water etc.) and place it in the fluffy cover. You can then attach it to your waist, back, shoulders etc using the wraparound belt (it sticks together like Velcro).
Overall, I love this wearable hot water bottle. The belt and the cover are very soft and comfortable to wear and because it is only a 1 litre hot water bottle, the weight of the filled bottle isn’t too heavy to carry around.
It’s great at providing much needed heat in this cold weather that we are having, without the need to carry around the bottle in your hands/arms, so you can still get on with anything that you want to do.
I find it great to use and I have since had to purchase another one for my mum (and she loves it more than I do)!
A great way to keep warm this winter whilst still having your hands free to get on with your day. Perfect for helping to relieve aches, pains and the stresses of the day. And the cover and belt are removable and washable.
