To unfold it and put into its upright position you just press firmly on the locking mechanism and pull the handlebar up until it locks into place. You can also adjust the handlebar height by pressing the locking mechanism and adjusting to the required height. And no tools are required for assembly! You will only require an Allen key if you need to tighten the front steering bar or when you need to replace the wheels when they wear out.

The rear foot brake is easy to push down on to slow down or stop the scooter (the brake can get quite hot with constant use so it should not be touched with bare skin).
I love how quick and easy the scooter is to fold down or open up to its upright position. The 3 stage easy-lock system to adjust the handlebar height for different riders is also very quick and easy to use.
And I love how the rear fender bends upwards to give some protection from water splashback when riding.
