When it comes to kids toys and games there is plenty of choice. But one thing that kids have always loved is bubbles. They are so simple to play with and an easy way to entertain the kids. That said, why not supersize a bubble and give them one that they can actual play with day after day, getting out in the garden and having some great outdoor fun. The Super Wubble Bubble Ball looks like a giant bubble but behaves like a ball and is lots of fun to play with.
The Super Wubble Bubble Ball can be bounced around, thrown in the air, grabbed, kicked and even squashed, and it is really durable making it very hard to pop (unless poked with something sharp).
What is the Super Wubble Bubble Ball? It is a supersized playable bubble that is loads of outdoor fun. A bubble that is extremely durable so is very hard to pop. It is made from a material called Xpandium – super-thermo-stretch-tacular stuff that is a very tough specially engineered synthetic rubber. As it is so big, you will need a pump of some sort to blow it up.
The Super Wubble Bubble Ball can be purchased in two ways; with or without a pump. If you don’t own a pump (preferably an electric pump) then it is best to purchase the version with a pump so that you can blow the ball up, if you already own a pump, you can save some money and just buy the ball (it does come with the appropriate nozzle). It is available in two colours: Boing Blue or Power Pink. I received mine in Boing Blue without a pump.

The Super Wubble Bubble Ball really is a massive bubble. It inflates to approximately 2.5ft, about 80cm. To inflate it, an electric pump is recommended. You will also need a cotton bud and some petroleum jelly (Vaseline), which are not included – these are needed to make inserting the nozzle much easier. Dip one end of the cotton bud in the petroleum jelly and insert it into the value, remove it and it insert the nozzle. Attach your pump and in about 2 minutes your Super Wubble Bubble Ball will be inflated (don’t inflate to more than 80cm).
Once inflated, it is squishy, squashy, super soft and lightweight (330g) and can be thrown, kicked, bounced and kids can even sit on it (maximum user weight 50kg).
Whilst it is a large durable bubble, it really needs to be played with outdoors. Whilst it is very hard to pop or puncture, it can if it hits something sharp so we have kept it away from any bushes and trees in the garden. Using on the grass, it has taken a lot of punishment being kicked, thrown, squashed, sat on etc. and hasn’t popped, torn or punctured. The kids have absolutely loved it.
Overall, the power of bubbles has won again and the Super Wubble Bubble Ball is excellent fun. We have it in the Boing Blue and out of the box it is a blue colour but after inflating it, as it gets bigger it gets more transparent, looking more like a massive bubble than a ball. It is lightweight so it floats through the air with ease and is perfect for throwing as it can very easily be grabbed, it can be squashed, it can be kicked, bounced and hit with ease and generally abused as long as it isn’t poked with sharp objects (it does comes with some repair patches should you puncture it). It is so strong that children can even sit on it!
You really do need an electric pump to inflate it, so make sure that you have one or purchase the version that includes the pump, especially as it does start to deflate after a lot of use or left overnight. It is easy to deflate and stores flat without taking up much space. After use it is best to deflate it for storage so that it lasts longer.
We have inflated and deflated a couple of times now after use and it is still as good as when we removed it from the packaging.
The Super Wubble Bubble Ball is a super fun outdoor toy. It is fantastic fun, tough and durable. Very easy to inflate in minutes (as long as you have a electric pump) and easy to play with. It has stood up to all the bouncing, throwing, squashing, kicking and sitting on.
A fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Suitable for children aged 5+.
