As I recently added a new corner desk to my home office / spare room I obviously needed a desk chair to put with it. As I spend a lot of time at the desk, I wanted something that was comfortable but also that looked good. And I think I have found it with this ergonomic mesh desk chair.
The Blisswood Ergonomic Mesh Desk Chair is perfect for any home office, study, bedroom or gaming room. It is available in a variety of colours from blue to yellow and offers lumbar support, soft comfortable seat with breathable fabric, 90° flip-up armrests, 360° swivel rotation, adjustable height and smooth multi-direction rolling castors (or casters if you prefer the American spelling).
As the furniture in the room is white and the walls have been painted blue, I ordered the desk chair in Navy Blue. As far as I have always been aware, Navy Blue is a dark shade of the colour blue, not the light blue that is shown in the picture. The picture shown is the actual colour of the chair of the chair I received not the darker navy colour. But to be honest, I was hoping that the picture was the accurate colour as I preferred it to a darker blue (which also would have worked in my room).
When it arrived, there was some quick assembly required – I think that it only took me about 10 minutes to put together (pushing seat on to wheelbase, screwing on armrests, inserting casters). The instructions that come supplied with the chair are very easy to follow.
Features:
- Made of high-quality metal and mesh, high load-bearing performance, so you can sit comfortably.
- Ergonomic office chair with silenced rolling wheels, smooth and stress-free.
- The Desk Chair has 90° Flip Up Armrest, 360° Swivel Rotational all Directions.
- You can flip the arms up and put the computer chair under the desk for saving space.
- Curved bucket seat that fits human body line and provides a strong back support.
- The mesh office chair gives you a cool feeling and a comfortable sitting posture, promotes good air circulation.
- Easy assembly.

The chair is made from metal and plastic with a soft high-density foam seat pad and mesh ergonomic back rest. It measures 55cm wide, 55.5cm deep and has an adjustable height of between 85-95cm. The chair has a maximum weight limit of 125kg / 275lbs (approximately 20 stones). The soft sponge seat, which is covered with durable and breathable mesh fabric, is very comfortable. Whilst the flexible mesh S-curved back rest offers a comfortable sitting posture, helping to hold your cervical spine, support your back and spine and protects your lumbar spine. It also promotes good air circulation, eliminates sweat and moisture, helps to keep you cool and allows you to concentrate and relax at the same time.
Overall, I love this chair. I love the look and style of it, and I love the colour, but most importantly I love how comfortable and supportive it is to sit in, especially over long periods of time. It feels sturdy and looks very smart.
The chair moves smoothly on its casters, and it can tilt back and even rock easily between 90° and 130° (the pressure needed to do so can be adjusted from underneath). The armrests can both flip into an upright position with no effort (handy if the chair won’t go under your desk with the arms down so helps to save space – I’ve had a few chairs in the past where they stick out into the room as the arms were fixed and wouldn’t fit in the space under the desk).
The fabric mesh back rest is very supportive and comfortable, and I love that the mesh makes it breathable and allows airflow – I get very hot quickly and this helps to keep me cooler than a padded leather or cushioned fabric back rest.
I am extremely happy with this desk chair. Not only does it look great, but it is also sturdy, supportive and I find it very comfortable. And at under £60 it is affordable without compromising on quality and comfort.
Perfect for any home office, study, bedroom or gaming room with colour options to match.
