Medicine Box

We all have medication in the house, whether it is as something as simple as cough medicine or paracetamol or prescription only medicines. Medicines in any form taken incorrectly or for conditions that you don’t have can be very dangerous. Whatever form the medicine take; pills, tablets, liquids etc. they should be kept out of the way of children and vulnerable adults, preferably behind lock and key. My medication has been kept in a wall mounted cupboard above the countertop but I didn’t want it in the same cupboard as my cup and plates so I purchased a wall mountable lockable medicine box.

A lockable first aid medicine box is an absolute must-have home safety storage item for any household! With its sturdy steel construction and secure lock mechanism, it ensures that all your prescription medicines, painkillers and any other pills, potions and medical supplies are safely stored away, whilst still being easily accessible in case of an emergency.

This lockable First Aid Medicine Box is a wall-mounted gloss white medicine box about the size of a small bathroom cabinet. It features the iconic red medical cross symbol on the door. It measures 8(D) x 21.5(W) x 32(H) centimetres externally. Internally it features a fixed central shelf, giving two storage compartments, each with dimensions of 6x20cm. With a strong steel construction, a lock with 2 keys and 4 pre-drilled fixing holes it is nearly perfect (I would have liked it to be maybe 1cm deeper, but that is my personal preference – it all depends on what you need to store).

This box is easy to install as is comes with pre-drilled holes on the rear of the box. Just open the door, mark the hole positions on the wall or door and drill. The box can then be securely attached to the wall or back of a door.

Medicine Box

Overall, this medicine box is a reliable and practical solution for keeping your first aid essentials and medication organised, secure and out of the way of children and vulnerable adults. It is a compact box so won’t store a first aid kit but does have even room for your prescription medicines, cough medicines and household essentials such as painkillers, antiseptic creams, antihistamines etc.

The door is lockable and comes with two keys. It can’t be opened without a key so vulnerable family members can’t get it and accidentally take something or take the wrong medicine.

It’s simple white design blends in nicely with the kitchen or utility room and the red cross clearly identifies that it is a medicine / first aid box so that it can easily be spotted in the event of an emergency.

Every home has medicines and first aid supplies, and these can be dangerous when used incorrectly. Locking them away from prying eyes and curious fingers keeps everybody safe, plus everything is stored and organised neatly out of the way – no need to hunt through drawers and cupboards when you need painkillers for that pounding headache!

Great for keeping all your prescription and over the counter medicines out of easy reach to avoid any accidental consumption as well as storing basic first aid essentials (if you don’t has a dedicated first aid kit) such as plasters and bandages etc. And with your medicines all stored and organised neatly in one place you can easily see when you need a new prescription or packet of painkillers.
