Astral Moisturiser

Our skin isn’t just the packaging that holds our insides in. When it comes to our bodies, our skin is the largest organ we have and it plays a crucial role in protecting us from external elements. So shouldn’t we all look after it better? Growing up, moisturising meant nothing to me – as far as I was concerned it was something women did as part of their beauty routine. What a moron! Moisturising is for everyone. For me I need it on my hands and elbows as they get very dry, itchy and flaky. Over the years I have since learned that keeping the skin moisturised is essential for maintaining its health and appearance. Moisturising helps to lock in hydration, prevents dryness, and create a barrier against environmental pollutants. It can also help with maintaining skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promoting a smooth, radiant complexion. With so many benefits, it’s no wonder that finding the right moisturiser is a top priority for many. I have tried several different ones and some have worked better than others, the one I am trying at the moment is the Astral Moisturiser.

Astral Moisturiser has been a trusted name in skincare for decades (over seventy years). Astral is known for its rich and intensive nourishing formula. It has been designed for all skin types and can be used on the face and body.

The Astral Moisturiser provides deep hydration with its rich, creamy texture that penetrates the skin, delivering long-lasting moisture that keeps your skin feeling soft and supple throughout the day. I use it on my hands, specifically my fingers as they get very dry, flaky and itchy as well as my elbows (I am constantly leaning my elbows on the desk with irritates them).

Astral Moisturiser

Overall, I found the Astral Moisturiser to be excellent. It rubs into the skin easily and doesn’t leave behind a greasy feeling. With a slight fragrance, it reminds me a bit of soap so has a clean scent. It’s versatility makes it a convenient all-in-one solution for your skincare needs. I think it does a fantastic job of soothing my dry elbows and relieving the itchiness and dryness on my fingers and is now starting to leave them softer and not as rough. It can also be used to hydrate your face or soften rough heels.

Formulated to be gentle on the skin and dermatologically tested, it is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. It is free from harsh chemicals and fragrances, reducing the risk of irritation and allergic reactions. This makes it an excellent choice for those with delicate or reactive skin.

I have no idea what high-quality moisturisers cost but the Astral Moisturiser is very affordable (about £5 for a 200ml tub) and does a fantastic job and you don’t need to use a lot so a tub will last a long while.

Everybody needs help with looking after their skin, even if just for your fingers, hands and elbows like me and I am finding the Astral moisturiser is doing a fantastic job; it smells clean and fresh leaving my skin feeling soft and supple.

Rating: 5/5
